JGB Richmond Office Expansion and TrustguardTM

Now that summer is winding down, we can reflect on the year’s events and look forward to finishing it out with happiness and success. With that said, Johnson, Gasink & Baxter, LLP is happy to announce a few changes with the firm regarding our Richmond office as well as an early reminder about our TrustguardTM program.

New Office

Our Richmond office has moved to a new, larger space at 3741-B Westerre Parkway, Richmond, Virginia. While we have certainly enjoyed our time at 4860 Cox Road, the expansion to larger space is long overdue. For those of you who are familiar with our old office location, the new office is only a few minutes down the road. The new office affords us much more space to grow and serve our clients and the professionals we work with. The Richmond office will now serve as a parallel primary office in addition to our Williamsburg office. We will continue to have satellite office locations to serve our clients in Virginia Beach, Fredericksburg, Stafford and Manassas. Our new office is fully staffed and clients can now pick up/drop off files as well as mail the location directly. JGB is also happy to announce the hiring of Terry Albertson who will be working in Richmond with our paralegals and attorneys as an administrative assistant. Please feel free to stop by and see the new location.

TrustguardTM

With so many new clients having joined JGB this year, it is appropriate to give an early reminder about our TrustguardTM program. TrustguardTM is a JGB proprietary client service program aimed at keeping your estate plan current, relevant and up to date to meet your needs. JGB created the TrustguardTM program a number of years ago for our Revocable Living Trust clients who are serious about protecting their estate planning investment. The program is comprised of an annual review of the estate plan, continued guidance on trust funding, as well as annual updates due to changes in the law or family circumstances. The TrustguardTM program is entirely voluntary and is billed at an annual flat rate. This year we had a huge turnout of TrustguardTM clients at our annual TrustguardTM party on September 9th. We truly appreciate all the thanks and positive comments we have received on the event and the program in general. It was definitely enjoyable for all of JGB to sit down in a relaxed environment with our clients to enjoy drinks, live music and some excellent pulled pork! I believe the only negative aspect to come from the event was the weather didn’t cooperate - ok it was downright hot. Unfortunately, our firm has not figured out a way to manipulate the weather, but we will keep working on that! For those interested in finding out more about TrustguardTM, the enrollment forms for 2017 will be mailed in December. All 2016 TrustguardTM active participants as well as all JGB clients who created a Trust-based plan in 2016 will receive enrollment/renewal forms in the mail. Feel free to contact our offices for further information on TrustguardTM.

The Attorneys and Staff of JGB thank you for choosing our firm to assist you with your estate planning, estate administration, and business law needs. We look forward to a long and fulfilling practice, serving our clients at all of our office locations.
